Originally from the east coast yet inspired by the unique climate and striking landscape of the desert southwest, Beth relocated to Arizona in 1997. With a background and education in literature, she achieved a Master of Landscape Architecture degree in 2012 from the University of Arizona and has worked on a variety of public and private projects as a landscape designer. As a Watershed Management Steward and LEED AP, Beth has developed a deep passion for environmental responsibility, rainwater harvesting and plants of the Sonoran Desert along with a commitment to her local community.
Beth enjoys exploring the West whether hiking, biking, canoeing, camping or long road trips with her husband, Nic and friends. She also enjoys hosting bike garden workshops, gardening and volunteering.
