The Student Health Services building is located within the heart of Arizona State University’s Tempe Campus adjacent to iconic Palm Walk and provides a needed service for students within a contemporary yet timeless environment that honors it’s historic context. Garden seating areas, created from materials recycled from the partial demolition, are accentuated with water harvesting rain chain features that nourish the gardens. The garden enhancements, along with the careful protection of numerous existing trees provide a calming environment to encourage health and wellness.
