Located within the newly dedicated Diane and Bruce Halle Skyspace Garden, James Turrell’s latest permanent Skyspace installation is an iconic destination and experience for students, faculty and art enthusiasts from across the globe. In collaboration with architect Will Bruder, the garden setting compliments Turrell’s simple yet sophisticated investigations into light and perception. The landscape architect assisted the architect and artist with the delicate placement of the installation, preserving much of the previously installed landscape of the adjacent Biodesign Institute.
